Classes We make every effort to begin our clubs and classes at the published times. Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before class to set up your machine. Occasionally class may run a bit longer than scheduled. We want you to have a great time and learn all that you can about your new machine. We attempt to schedule our complimentary and fee based classes so that they are convenient for as many as possible. If our complimentary or fee based classes do not fit into your schedule, Whitlocks Instructors offer private lessons. Fees start at $35 per hour. Please contact us so that we may schedule you with one of our excellent teachers. In the event a class needs to be cancelled or rescheduled, we will make every effort to contact you well in advance of the class scheduled time. Machine Mastery Classes Please bring the following items to class: Your sewing machine, foot control, power cord, instruction manual, scissors and sewing thread. You might also want to bring along paper and a pen/pencil for taking notes. Certain classes may require additional supplies and will be listed separately. Please check the Calendar for class dates and times. It is mandatory that you register for ALL classes and clubs. Class size is limited and in many classes we have waiting lists. If you cannot attend, please call to cancel a class. If we need to cancel a class, we will make every effort to contact you. Class fees must be paid at the time you register. Class structure: Seperate Level classes are held for different machines. Please look for the following notations in parenthesis to locate classes for your machine: Husqvarna Viking: Designer (Diamond, SE, D1, QD, QD2) Mechanical / Computer (VM/VC) Janome: Computer (JC) - All Janome machines that are programmable. Mechanical (JM) - Any Janome machine that is not programmable. Additional classes will be added as needed. All classes are held at our downtown location. |
